Florida Natives and brothers, Gil & David Castillo have had a passion for Florida wildlife as long as they can remember. The two brothers traveled the nation for over 35 years, entertaining and educating spectators of all kinds with their reptiles and Florida wildlife knowledge.

Gil has been air-boating in Florida’s backcountry waterways nearly his entire life. As a teenager he purchased his first airboat and has been addicted to it ever since. A childhood fascination of wildlife and nature grew into a passionate career when, at 19 years old, Gil took a position with the Seminole Tribe of Florida. He led educational tours through the reservation, informing visitors about Seminole traditions and ways of life. As part of these tours, Gil operated airboats through Big Cypress Swamp, informing passengers about Florida’s ecosystem. He also performed educational exhibits with many species of Florida’s wildlife- including bears, otters and the endangered Florida panther. His rattlesnake and alligator shows quickly became crowd favorites, later leading him to open his own set of educational traveling wildlife exhibits.

His experience and ever-increasing knowledge of wildlife and nature landed him several zoo director positions in Florida and Louisiana. Eventually Gil founded and began operating the most popular of his wildlife shows, “Kachunga and The Alligator Show”.  Founded on an environmental message and filled with educational information on Florida’s most infamous creature, it became one of the most popular and sought after exhibitions at festivals, fairs and theme parks throughout the nation.

After serving with the United States Marine Corps, David joined his brother Gil in the Kachunga Show. David quickly became regarded as one of the best alligator handlers in the world.  With countless performances under his belt throughout his career, his travels would land him in every US state & throughout Canada. David's passion for wildlife shined in his performances and quickly gained him notoriety as he became a huge crowd favorite at every stop.

In their free time Gil & David enjoy spending time on their air-boats and offshore fishing. The idea to form an airboat tour company came about when the brothers realized how much their friends and family members enjoyed joining them on their boating adventures, and listening to their wildlife knowledge.

With years and countless hours spent on Florida rivers and swamps, David & Gil have gained considerable knowledge of some of the state’s most beautiful, pristine and scenic areas. The brothers are happy to share their knowledge and experiences with those individuals that have a love for nature and the great outdoors. Their intimate, off-the-grid routes through some of Florida’s uncharted and breathtaking places, will be forever revered as one of your favorite and most memorable adventures.
